Dominoes

Gut wrenching, Nauseating Memory,

travels downward from a suppressed gland,

intoxicating your already inebriated mind.

Downward spiral, racing against the neuro - transmission,

synapse after synapse,

like high tide,

taking up all that comes in its way,

you know you can't hide.

when all of creation falters, takes a deep breath,

just as we walk,

this must be a method, for all of nature to succumb :

to a poison lesser known,

and the madness that revolts,

of thought and action,

where each explosion changes Minds,

Ways, the one she knew, the jaded hand

as the Backstage Crew sails the 'sepia tinted'

Garage,

Like where our Car rests,

in silence.

at the right time : when the weather is just right,

We will bring out the tent,

pitch it on the land we never owned,

and stay, for as long as Time allows our minds to wander,

and then return...

So there is sunrise and Half Light,

just like swords hanging above your head waiting, wanting, to come down,

strike a blow,

strike you down,

and while you bleed,

you wonder why you never left.

This monster kite above,

throwing its shadow on all things alike and waiting to be rescued,

from a sky that cries,

If there was wisdom, in what they say,

we would never perish, not then, not today,

and while we all count days, for all that they are worth,

i count lives,

toes,

birds,

and the leaves that fell from my favorite tree this fall.

today we stand tall,

tomorrow, we'll have a ball,
